условно погашаемая облигация
Эти облигации являются наиболее надежными и качественными облигациями среди облигаций, не облагаемых налогом; они выпускаются в связи с процессом, известным как досрочное, или предварительное, погашение более старых облигаций эмитента. Поступления от продажи этих новых облигаций зачисляются на специальный счет в банке-попечителе. Деньги с этого счета используются на покупку американских казначейских пенных бумаг, доходы от которых достаточны для процентных платежей и погашения старых облигаций.
